Plastic Variable Capacitor Dual Section 266pf
Description
These are small plastic variable capacitors with a dual section 0-266pf these can be connected to give a total capacitance of 0-532pf.
Screws and washers for the variable capacitor are available in two lengths: 5/32" (4mm) and 3/16" (5mm). The shaft and two mounting holes are both tapped metric M2.5.
For AM Radio match the dual section 266pf variable capacitor with the 180uh Loopstick Antenna Coil. Use both sections of the 266pf variable capacitor for a total of 532pf. You can optionally include one or more of the trimmers to lower the frequency range slightly if needed.
CAUTION: The internal parts of the variable capacitor can be damaged easily if the screw enters the variable capacitor too far. Please check for clearance.
Shafts that fits all my poly variable capacitors are available in 12mm or 14mm length.
I have two sizes of knobs that fit the above shafts.
